Things You’ll Do
- Reading Electrical wiring diagrams, troubleshooting electrical problems.
- Understanding PLC’s and troubleshooting them.
- Understanding ethernet communications between equipment and PLC’s.
- Understanding relays and troubleshooting them.
- Understanding motor starters and contact blocks.
- Understanding VFD drive units.
- Understanding 3-phase power.
- Maintaining a safe working environment.
- Troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic valves.
- Maintain and service production machinery.
- Replace and adjust machine wear parts.
- Some fabrication work.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Able to work day shift (Mon-Fri 8 am to 6 pm).
- Able to work every other Saturday (subject to change)
- Exceptional problem solving and technical skills.
- Must be proficient in running EMT conduit.
- Must be proficient in running communication cables.
- Must have good knowledge of transformers and power supply.
- Must have equipment program logic understanding.
- Must be proficient with pneumatic and hand tools.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with mechanical repairs. Chains – Sprockets – Bearings, and ect.
- Good communication skills.
- Highly Safety oriented.
- Ability to lift 50 – 75 Lbs.
