Things You’ll Do  

• Oversee shop employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility  

• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action  

• Assist with equipment procurement   

• Monitor employee training and certification  

• Provide support and oversight in the achievement of team performance goals  

• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements  

Requirements  

• Demonstrated experience managing people and processes in a shop environment  

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)  

• College or trade school degree preferred  

• Mechanic experience preferred   

• Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance   

• Ability to review and analyze financial information, and coordinate with operations leadership on controlling costs  

• Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills  

• Strong vendor relations
