Things You’ll Do
- Oversee shop employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility
- Responsible for recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action
- Assist with equipment procurement
- Monitor employee training and certification
- Provide support and oversight in the achievement of team performance goals
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing people and processes in a shop environment
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- College or trade school degree preferred
- Mechanic experience preferred
- Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance
- Ability to review and analyze financial information, and coordinate with operations leadership on controlling costs
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
