Lead the Way as a Road Grader Operator with Sunroc

Sunroc is hiring an experienced Road Grader Operator to manage grading, paving prep, and team supervision on highways, roads, and construction projects. With at least three years of grader experience, you'll teach, direct, and collaborate with a team while ensuring safety and quality. Things You will Do 

  • Operate a grader safely & efficiently.
  • Prep for asphalt and concrete paving on highways, roads, and construction sites.
  • Teach and direct team members.
  • Read and understand project plans and specifications.
  • Measure, mark and record openings and distances to lay out work areas.

 

Requirements 

  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience operating a Road Grader.
    • At least 1 year of experience operating a loader, skid steer, and roller.
    • Experience in a dozer or excavator is a plus.
    • Ability to read plans, grades stakes and operate Trimble GPS
  • Additional Requirements
    • Must be 18 years or older.
    • Ability to bend, sit for extended periods, and work in the heat.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
    • Attention and commitment to safety.
    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
