Things You’ll Do
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair vehicles and equipment; perform major engine and transmission repairs and replacements as well as electrical diagnosis.
- Perform major electrical repairs (including electronic controls), minor welding repairs, engine and transmission repairs and replacements, as well as equipment and plant maintenance repairs.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Complete road calls and perform field repairs.
- Maintain tools as required to perform job (we'll provide you with a tool allowance and cell phone stipend).
- Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Able to work hours 3 pm to 1 am.
- At least 1 year experience as a field mechanic and 2-4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Must be able to obtain department of transportation (DOT) medical card.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to move at least 50 pounds.
