The asphalt paver operator position is a critical member of the paving team as we work to build better communities. Here are some of the things you will do:

• Operate CAT 1055 and 655 pavers productively, efficiently, and safely
• Set up paver with automatics
• Work with and assist the foreman, superintendent, and other team members to complete a quality job.
• Direct and teach our laborers for success.
• Clean out paver at end of the day, and get it ready for the next day by greasing and doing minor repairs, using a grease gun, oilcan or hand tools.

We want our asphalt paver operators to grow with us, and we are excited to give you opportunities to grow your skill level. Additionally, we're looking for:

• Experience with operating the CAT 1055 and 655 pavers.
• Know how to set up and run the paver with System 5 TopCon automatics.
• Understand asphalt paving procedures.
• The ability to sit for long periods, work in the heat, bend, lift, and other physical activities.
• Energetic, we work a lot of hours in a day, and this will keep you going with the rest of your team.
• Strong work ethic.
